Sedation Dentistry

Are you suffer from Dental Anxiety?

If you are suffer from dental anxiety that keeps you from visiting a dentist, avoiding the dentist often leads to undiagnosed dental problems which, over time, become more significant and require invasive treatment.  At Clear Lake City Dentistry, we offer Sedation Dentistry to meet the unique needs of our anxious, fearful, or busy patients, because your comfort and peace of mind are our first concern.

What is Sedation Dentistry?

We use the latest sedation techniques including anti-anxiety medication, oral conscious sedation, and IV sedation.

What is IV Sedation?

This type of sedation is delivered intravenously and works instantly.  An advantage to IV sedation is that we can adjust the levels continually.

For some patients, IV sedation wears off almost immediately after administration is stopped.  For Others, they can feel its effects for a few hours after their appointment is over.  Patient shouldn't drive or operating machinery for 24 hours afterward.
